"Romeo"
is a portrait and a metaphor of the spirit of the horse. I first saw Romeo with an ultrasound machine when he was showing
off flying lead changes in is momma's uterus. I was there hours after he was born and recognized something special in
him from the start. He sustained an unfortunate injury early in life, and though he may never be sound as a riding
horse, he has retained a good attitude that makes him pleasant to be around (although like many young horses, he does have
his moments) and a fire that is beautiful to watch.
